The Preble County Budget Commission is composed of three elected officials; the County Auditor, the County Treasurer, and the County Prosecutor. The County Auditor serves as Secretary to the Commission and employs a staff to execute the statutory functions of the Budget Commission. The primary functions are to annually review the tax budgets of all taxing districts within the County and to determine that all tax levies are properly authorized and allocated to local governments and libraries.
